Boreman, Zachariah (1738-1810)

Boreman was a porcelain painter. He is mentioned in 1770 in the accounts of the Chelsea Porcelain Factory, where he was paid as a decorator. He moved to Derby in 1783 where he worked, more or less continually until 1794. He was known for his landscapes and it is has been suggested by John Fineran that he was tutored by both Paul Sandby and Joseph Wright.
