The Crescent from Sheffield Road, August 1807

Nattes, John Claude (attributed) (c.1765-1839)

1807

This sketch, one of seven from the same sketchbook, is attributed to John Claude Nattes. Nattes often drew architectural views and sketched similar scenes of the Crescent in Bath. These sketches are dated 1808. We know he visited Derbyshire in 1798 as his sketchbook from this visit is in the Royal Collection.
